The process, I think, of being self-concious to trusting yourself enough to shift your awareness gradually to the world around you, seems to me, like it's fascilated primarily by one thing:

The realization that people's opinion about you, wether good or bad, does not matter.

And for that to internalize, their opinion CAN'T matter.

Easiest way of doing this, would to me, be to travel like fuck, and make a fool out of yourself.
