Food for money

I just saw a documentery "las days of the dinosaurs" or something like that, and I went like: fuck, if the supermarket stops selling food - I*M FUCKIN FUCKED.

If there's a break anywhere in this delicate chain, that goes from the SUN(initially) to my STOMACH(finally) - then, I am fucked.

There's many places it can fuck up. Yellowstone might blow up - this would most likely cause several years of winter due to ashes and shit, poor harvests and no food.

Could be wars, pandemics, fucked up weather, - you name it. I recently made a thread about google, who has taken such a gear in our economical society that it's amazing. I see it like this. Today:

Google doesn't even focus on money anymore - they have that. They just get information, and they'll soon have it fuckin all. They're stockpiling information. And it has an innate WORTH, which MONEY does ***NOT*** have.

So I came up with this idea:

Step one:
Make a super cheap foodproduct that practically lasts for EVER, and contains the nutrition that you require.

Step two: Stockpile this

Step three: Make currency, based upon this.

So one $ would be worth a full meal. And for every dollar printed - there is one fuckin meal in storage.

That would mean we have a healthy amount of food lying around, and, the value of the currency is set. If you also make this food taste good and whatever - it could be extremely fucking pratical too.

I don't want to sound like a pessimist, but I can't see mankind getting anywhere past Step 0 during the next milennia.

How much fun would it be from a skala 1 to 10.

I think it would start at 7-8 but slowly or even fast go down to 1-2, since when it's new its "yey wuw", but then it gets disgusting, "normal", strange, it becomes old. Whatever. It will stay "wuw, yey" for the nerds or people that can't find other things in their life that fulfills them or whatever


So, it wouldn't be THAT cool.
