Oyn understood me correctly. I think maby rev did as well.
But I don't care for groups. Sometimes I join with people with the same passion to work for a goal of mine. It's mutually beneficial. I don't give up my free will to the group. If someone would kick a man who's down in my group, I wouldn't say "yay! fuck him!" I would think on my own. I don't feel HOME in any group. I am home all the time, in myself. I do what I wanna do all the time, and anytime someone says implies that "we" have something special, I feel sick.
This goes with my current girlfriend as well. We had a splendid relationship without any demands on eachother. It was special. I spent time with her, NOT BECAUSE SHE WAS MY GIRLFRIEND, not because I HAD TO, not because ANY of that BULLSHIT. But because I wanted to. Every second I was there was because I personally wanted to spend that second there.
I think I might even tell her that. Maby I will tell her that I will NEVER, ***EVER*** be there for her, because she's my girlfriend. I will be there because I want to. Even this small little group, the essential one in human history, it can take something honest and passionate and turn it into habit and compulsion.
I would give up seeking yourself in others, in groups, or in people. It will only twist your nature.
EDIT: Then someone said "Loyalty to the group benefits the group" kinda. Can get the group though a rough time. Well why don't you stay loyal to yourself? To your own values? Be honest. If you say you will help someone, you stay TRUE to that, and don't fuck him over. If there is starvation in the country, and the one who gives you food tells you to share it, because there won't be enough for everyone otherwise, then SHARE IT. BE TRUTHFUL, and compassionate. Stay true to your *own* *moral* *values*. You don't need a group to tell you what's right, you were gifted with a brain, and you KNOW when you act fucked up to the next guy.
