(The point of this is not to turn this thread into a sexfest. Just add a few sentances, like 1-10.)

Chira was a dryad living in the Sleeping Woods, on the eastern side of the great city of Oceansend. As a matter of fact, the woods in itself wasn't sleeping, rather it was slumbering in, rustling now and then, swallowing up a wanderer, just enough to keep nosy figures out.  This had not always been the case.
In ages past, the woods had been fast asleep, and rather enjoyed the trickle of adventurous traders getting through by the eastern trail. But, as the Woods sunk deeper into sleep, the trickle turned into a stream, and the Eastern Trail, turned into the Great Eastern Road, paved with shining white stones and flourishing with trade.

After the humble trees saw there forests becoming acostume to fire and pain, from the industrial development of man, they wept. As the carnage continued, there sorry turned to anger; There pacifism turned to action. Now none dare to wander into the forests, any who do are never seen again.
The forest's grace and slumber was disturbed by man, so now the forest is awake... and angry. Determined to keep what little paradise remains of their once glorious state, the trees now kill all trespasers on their land.
Some say its under mother natures command, others say its sorcerry. None truly know the whole story ... expect one, Chira.

(great man^^)
So, with the eastern road useless, the eastern gate of Oceansend was also locked and barred, instead the Northern road was used, for on the other sides, the city was surrounded by water. People walked around, almost in pretend, like a childrens' game, as if they couldn't see the forest at all. As if it wasn't even there, it wasn't there if you couldn't look at it right? And you didn't have to look at it if you didn't want to, epscially with the gate closed.
Closed gates didn't matter much, if you were a thief though, like Rubel. He wasn't like a lowlife pickpocket, or scavanger, no he was a REAL thief, able to jump from rooftop to rooftop, in a dance which almost seemed magical in itself. "The Princess' Thief" he called himself, even though the princess was long gone, and the city now ruled by her coorked brother prince Kangar.
