What I was hoping would be a great 8 vs 8 fight between the current two top guilds turned into another sad game in DS history. It started on The Remains, and we all had to wait very long before everybody had spawned. The relic closest to BH's opened and they brought it home without even have to fight for it. When the fighting began many of the KoE players had huge lag problems, so bad that it was unplayable for 5 of 8 players. We tried a few more minutes but it wasn't fun - I got disconnected and the lag for the others extremely problematic. At a 2-1 lead to BH our battle master Fero dicided that we had to quit playing - it just didn't work. We tried to negotiate with BH to stop playing as well and restart the game on another server, but they refused. We quit playing, and BH brought the last relic home. BH played the second map as well without any opponents and won it 3-0 (surprise). BH accused us of wanting to restart the game because we were losing, and they didn't believe that we had lag issues. They had done "nothing wrong" (which naturally is true) so they kept on playing.
Conclusions: 1) 8 vs 8 shouldn't be played on servers that can't handle it. 2) There should be some guidelines on how to proceed if one team has major trouble of some kind.
We have played this game for a long time many of us. The established guilds don't cheat and make up bad excuses. I think that BH who has been the very best guild for a long time should be careful with their attitude and give the other teams some room to manouver. The outcome would most probably have been the same with a BH win in this case, so why not restart the game, play 6 vs 6 and win, and everybody would have been happy. No - keep on playing, win with 6-0 under doubtful circumstanses and really make one of the other major guilds pissed. That is not very wise behaviour in the long run, even if it isn't "wrong". We have to be careful with how we treat oneanother - or this game will be even more dead than it already is.
I will gladly see BH comment on this to get their point of view out in the open, and also perhaps find some solutions...

Your description of the match and how things happened is an outright fabrication and extremely biased. Not me or anyone from BH is going to comment on that until you atleast try to make it neutral.
If you want to flame use PM's, not public forums.

? I kinda dislike this "keep everything shut tight" mentality. I mean if someone acts like a shithead to me I'll call him up for it. In front of whatever crowd there friggin is. It's not like I'm asking for his premission first, like: "Do you also think you're a shithead? Can I share this knowlage with the rest of humanity?" and then i file in an add to the local newspaper or something.
And thatäs NOT saying BH are shitheads or something like that. If anything you might be a bit caught up in your own success, which can promote slightly dissapointing behaviour at times. What pimp describes is a bit out of line, and I wouldn't expect this from BH, but on the other hand this might be Pimps experience of what happened.
Drama!

The core in the conflict from our perspective is that even when we told you several times that we had latency issues in an overwhelming degree, you didn' believe us. You haven't believed us up to this date, that is really what is making us turn red.
I have understood that from your side, you think we left because we where loosing and are mad because of us quiting.
This is how we experienced it. And we have tried going through the pm's. Both of us is more or less standing bolted to our point of view. The intention of taking this public is not to flame BH (to use your words). It is a try to settle this conflict.
EDIT: Counted to ten and edited this post.

Would be cool if u would remove that Sure its also the server connection which failed but its not ONLY the server connection. A guy with a good internet connection has no laggs on that server usually. As far as i know it was F's Server, not? I havent ever got any lagg on this server. I played more than 10 publick 8v8 rounds on that server *no lags* and i played a 8v8 GvG against BH on this server *no lag* and on the 8v8 GvG there has nobody said its laggy (as far as i remember) so i would remove that Its not the server probably. Its ur own connection probably. Or why do i never got lags on that server?

Next time you have an argument about lag just do a simple ping or trace route test to the server. PS BH are shitheads, hugs

This is soo stupid, both BH and KoE love this game so lets sort this out. i apologise for us just quitting, it was stupid. we should of told everyone to just stop, sort things out and get it going on another server without lag. I can assure you we had lag even though you don't believe us ( i don't know why, we want to play just as much as you guys do and we don't mind loosing if its a fair match). but maybe we should both accept we made mistakes us for quitting you for not believing us. The chat in game was not a good time to talk about starting again as our shadowblade was still harassing BH base, and they were therefore caring on with your attacks. This has just been a big misunderstanding. I dont know what PM'ing has been going on but no doubt it was just argueing and not getting anywhere.
Again I apologise and hope we can sort this out. Get the match deleted and have a non-laggy rematch.
/Jack

@Nightmare: This is he second time this year you accuse me of a lie in a public forum. I will not change anything - this is how I think things went down. If I would change it then it would be a fabrication. If any of my fellow Knights think I got it wrong I will gladly step down and make a public apology. I don't always get everything right. I can make one apology directly - I didn't know our SB was harrasing your base like Jack writes above, my fault due to lack of information. And yes, my opinion is always biased, that is exactly why I asked BH to comment on this so we could have your point of view as well, so it wouldn't be a onesided view. I don't consider this flaming, I have explicitly said that you have done nothing wrong, but I thought your behaviour unwise. I did use PM to try to sort this out with you, but to no avail, since you continued to accuse us of quitting because we were losing, which I think is an outrageous accusation. I hoped that perhaps someone in BH would comment this so we could straighten things out and play the game we love, perhaps even with some guidelines how to proceed if one team runs into major trouble, like we did this time, to avoid similar things in the future. I won't even comment the fact that you forbid your teammates to reply to a post in a forum... / Pimp
Correction: It was quitter and creator of unnecessary threads the last time, not a lie... remembered that now.

I don't have any hand to this thing but I just want to say: When other team is under a major lag wave they should inform about it to other team that they are about to lose players due the lag and DCs. This way "You were quitting" sort of things could be solved easier And my opinion at the same while I'm writing this: Dunno the real situation here but I would say that guild like KoE wouldn't lie about something like this.

I won't even comment the fact that you forbid your teammates to reply to a post in a forum... And neither should you, since it's not your guild. We obey our guildmaster out of respect to him and his wish, not because he "forbids us". I don't know what the drama is about, since I wasn't there, so I wont comment on that. Just wanted to say that it's exactly things like these that make playing WAR much more fun than playing Dawnspire. Same kind of challenges (albeit not as good, but then nothing compares to DS, really) with less drama. I also want to salute Sedjulack for being a man and trying his best to sort this out. Now I shall return to WAR...

Just wanted to say that i doubt that KoE would lie. As far as i understood they said "We have too much lags" when it was a 2-1 loos situation. So there is no reason why they should lie. 2-1 loos situation isnt a bad situation. U can still attack enemy base and win with some skill and luck I doubt KoE would lie even if it would be a 2-0 last relic 1 meter for holder loos situation i still doubt KoE would lie
