A new guild versus a guild set up over 2 years ago would have a very hard time trying to win as the older guild has more experience players and more skills available. Think newbie at Dawnspire versus a veteran. Fortunatley when you buy the game you can then buy skill packs from the store online. With these you get all the skills for a certain campagin for a set price. These would then be availabe to use in PvP right away, but would still need to be bought in PvE even though they are open at a skill trainer.

You can get a demo pack from most game stores that gives you 14 days on the three main campaigns. It costs about £2.00 I think.
