Hi All,

Since mid December I have been trying to access the forums on my XP machine and the XP machines at my place of work. On every machine after a few seconds or a few clicks the forums crash each computer to desktop or to a freeze. I have tried loads of other site and have had no problems. I am currently typing this on my Vista machine and as yet have had no problems. Any Ideas why this is happening.

Huh

I use AOL and i have same problem  Huh.

Everytime I try to reply or quote in topic... or sometimes just view topic.. the window freezes.

If i then go to close window, 50% of the time it closes my entire browser too.

Just use firefox instead Wink

But I will try it out on my laptop, which as Xp and IE6, and see if I can trace it down.

AOL, isn't that just an internet provider?

At the moment.. i can post with firefox...but i would prefer using my usual AOL.

Yes AOL is an internet provider, but it also comes with a browser software... I am currently using AOL version 9.0, and it is better than IE ... but still crashes.

I remember having this with Firefox. Right now, I'm using Opera, and it works good.

If I even look at this forum with a machine, any machine running windows Xp it just freezes and falls over. I can still only view and reply on a vista based machine. Anyone know why?

Strangely, i could search through the forum perfectly fine using I.E 7  - when i was not signed in.

However, as soon as i signed into my forum account on i.e i could move around for maybe a minute - and then the whole thing freezes and closes to desktop.

At the moment, i am using Firefox - which seems to have no problems (logged in or out).

So i dont know what is causing the problem or how to fix it  Undecided

And P.s: I am on a Windows XP os.     So persus maybe try using mozilla firefox
