Yes... A highly controversial subject. I've never touched anything except alcohol in my life, not even cigarettes, but THIS, in Sweden, right now, is a very, VERY interesting topic, since the shit is just everywhere, if you open your eyes to it.
The main reason to this post is that, I feel kinda fucked by society. Society has lied to me, or so it seems. My dad told me at a very young age "you can do anything you want my son, be a drunkard, smoke your lungs out, I don't care, just don't do drugs". School further set this in stone, teachers, you name it, everyone. Had anyone of those seen it? Did anyone of those ACTUALLY known what they were talking about?
See, if you begin to doubt one thing you've heard about this, you don't know if the second thing is true either. Is anything of it true? Was it just a Big Lie, and where does it end? Did anyone know anything, or did they just make shit up to scare you?
Now that's dangerous. Once society lies, one starts to trust in society.
Where I live right now, there's drugs everywhere. Last time I went out clubbing, I was asked if I was dealing, it's not uncommon. A close friend to me, who I see everyday basically does weed, has VOLUNTARILY been HOMELESS for a YEAR in Oslo, just for the shit of it, and has more experience than ANYONE ELSE I KNOW regarding this.
He's seen the dope square in oslo, where people inject heroin freely, see them dissappear, replaced by others. Seen a young girl swim across a semifrozen river to share a smoke with a utterly creepy dude on the other side, get her share, and swim back again.
"People with an unstable feeling of who they are, and what they want, people who are UNSURE of THEMSELVES should never do any drugs. Hell, they shouldn't even begin drinking, or smoking for that matter."
Does my friend smoke? Yes. He even has a plan of trying out heroin once he turns 60-70 because then it won't matter anyhow. He wanted to try LSD once, and did, just to find out what it was like.
"It changed my perspective. You can never know what it's like if you've never tried. And you should NEVER try if you don't SINCERELY want to, because that will just fuck you up."
So why does he do it? Why does he continue?
"I wouldn't be here, if it wasn't because of drugs. I realized the shit I was in, because of this, I knew I HAD to get out, because of this. None of this plastic shit matters in the long run anyhow, why should what anyone thinks of you, put you down? Don't let it, and it won't.
No you see... If you try this, and you like it, you won't stop. It's like eating, would you choose never to eat again, even if you DIDN'T HAVE to? Or would you want to taste a strawberry again, even if you wasn't hungry? You need willpower and a strong center, don't let the drugs use you."
What does he say then, the best drug source I know:
1: Don't try this if you're fucked up, because it will fuck you up more
2: Don't try if you don't want to
3: Don't do Coke, Heroin, or Speed, because those will get you heavily addicted, and most likely fuck your life up.
4: It's inspirational, "mind expanding", and several sources have claimed drugs of a kind of another HAS changed their life perspective, and realize the bullshit all around them.
5: It costs money
6: It's also illegal, and has the potential to cost even more money.
MY personal experience with drugs, are partly what I hear and see around me, but that's YOUNG PEOPLE. PEOPLE MY AGE. What will any drug do to you after 20 years? Will it do anything? Several people I LOOK UP to indulge in this, and it's really hard to comment on this, because most of what I've been told seems to be propaganda and hype. I don't know what's true.
Another personal experience though, would be what I've gathered from my time working in a mental hospital. It's true, I can confirm this, there can be serious mental problems, even from lighter drugs. The theory goes like, if you DO have a beginning mental problem, a latent one, drugs can stir up your brain enough to let it out.
That doesn't contradict number one there, because most peoples lives in there WERE fucked up already, drugs didn't really do any good there.
So: What's the point of this?
I want to know what's true. I want to see if you have any experience with this, and I want to share mine, to clear out the bullshit. I dislike being lied to.
I know we have doctors here. Wouldn't surprise me if we have police here too. Let me hear your take on this.
I don't want to hear no "Uh, my teacher said it was bad" or anything like that, I want experience, not propaganda.
Yea, and this should be worth looking at too:
