Ok not sure if this should go here but here goes.

Any one any ideas Why I would be able to connect to some servers and not others? For instance I cannot connect to any of Q's servers or to a few of the newer servers. I also am unsure if anyone can connect to mine when it is up.

Anyone else got these problems?

If someone hasn't hosted as it should have been (like the port 3170 is not open) you are unable to connect the server.
Send me a PM for guestions regarding this.

To open the port:
Firewall -> find some sort of setting panel -> find ports -> and add 3170to

Here's a question Swiss. If some one has opened a server and others can join it but me what do you reckon the problem would be then? I'm thinking of Q's servers and Brummys when it was up. Others could connect but I just got the trying to connect loop.

It would mean that your firewall would block all connections to it, and you'd need to allow them.
Most likely for some reason your connection is blocked ... where do you live ?

That shouldn't be a problem then at all... I really can't say, maybe their servers is just bocking your connection for some odd reason. I don't know so much cisco stuff so cant really say
