There is a problem with the DS launcher... It says it cant download the 2007 launcher.exe

Ps: Does this mean GvG is off?

I got the same problem a few nights ago. it told me it couldn't patch the game. I was still using the original release version. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and installed the community version and all is now ok. try it if you are still using the patched Silent grove version. Or a reinstall community version just to see if it helps.
