Hellow guys,


when i try to start the game i'm becoming an error called:"Die Anwendung konnte nicht gesatrtet werden, weil MSVCR71.dll nicht gefunden wurde. Neuinstallation der Anwendung könnte das problem beheben." Because i think that not so many people are speaking german here^^, i try to translate it into english:"The program cannot start, because MSVCR71.dll couldn't be found." The other sentence is unimprotant^^. Help me pls

Are you using Windows Vista?
I've never got this message myself, so I'm not sure about it but you may find this helpful:

If anyone is ever having the same problem with this, just copy the requested DLLs from the c:\windows\system32 folder to c:\windows\system and also this should only give you problems on 64 bit systems.

Try reinstalling the game from scratch. When you uninstall, make sure you delete your remaining DS folder if one remains see what happens after reinstall.

It's a .DLL problem. Download the missing or not-working file again from here.

It's a package, so you need to unpack it with some program like winzip. Extract the file into C:\Windows\System32\ (if you're XP user) You may also put it in the Dawnspire directory.

If putting it in the system directory isn't enough, you may need to use regsvr32 by the following way:
        1. Press Start and select Run
        2. Type CMD and press Enter
        3. Type regsvr32 MSVCR71.dll and press Enter
