Ranked server hosting rules

These are the rules for having a ranked server, breaking these rules will result in the server getting unranked for an arbitrary amount of time, decided individually in each case.

• Modded servers are not allowed
• You may not shut down the server in the middle of a game, exceptions can be made, if there was a hardware failure or if you have to go to bed etc
• The server should not have rules deciding who is allowed to play, a ranked server should be for everyone

Violations should be reported in a private message to me, preferably on the main dawnspire site. I will usually need at least two separate complaints to make a judgment in each case.

Question.

Does this rule deny deleting the lousy bots from the server?

If so, Id like to make a suggestion to edit the community editor in such a way that we could get away from the non-healing templars and the rest of the useless bots that roam the realm. DEVS wont prolly like it though..

Edited bots should be fine.

I am thinking about including the new "football-map" in my map-cycle. I think this is in the communitys best interest and what the community would like. Is that ok with my server still being a ranked one? / Pimp

I haven't played it myself yet, but you can try to have it in your map cycle. But I am a bit hesitant against forcing client side modifications on ranked servers, so you should probably include some kind of note in the server name. We will see how this works out =)
