Info

This is just the original games posted on the list. I've played all the games (excluding Rymdspelet IV). As I do so I'll write a quick blurb on them and assign them Symbols and the like. Feel free to request an addition or say you think something deserves a symbol. It's a bit messy right now but I'm thinking of fixing that...sometimes.

* - Lamb's Pick - My personal recommendation
+ - Popular - There is a large community based around this with a lot of players
@ - Classic - One of those games you just think of when you think of the genre, or that really set the current form of the genre in motion.
& - Johan's pick - His personal recommendation (I think).

Games

Post '95

+@Starsiege: Tribes - Multiplayer sci-fi 3D shoot-em-up

@Grand Theft Auto 2 - 2D action/crime game

I have never in my entire life felt as geeky as after 12 hours of Dwarf Fortress. I was practically unable to speak. I felt like one, big, sweaty, acne.

That's the reason to why it's so great?
Anyways, is there a large community? Would you say it's one of the classic games that you come to think of when you name the genre?

Yeah that is part of the reason Wink
There are at least three people that really like the game, but I would not call it a classic =)

Ofc I support DS. Some people might just want to take a brake tho and can make use of this topic.

Stop advertising other free games!
DS wasn't free in the beginning.
