I had a hard time to rank my favorite games but here we go.

- Terranigma! a Super Nintendo classic. Awesome story, great music and fantastic game play. And it comes with some fun dialogs as well.
- Mega Man 2! Nintendo. My personal favorite in the Mega Man series. Very easy on "normal" but just about fine in "difficult". Only Mega Man game for a long time with one easy and one harder mode.
- Perfect Dark/Golden Eye! Nintendo64. Can't decide which I like more. Golden Eye probably brought me a better single player experience and some great multi player fun as well, granted I had 3 friends to play with. Perfect Dark gave me more weapons, multi player Bots and one step ahead in graphic. It's a tie!
- Dawnspire! 65 days playtime FTW! \o/
- Starcraft/Warcraft3! yet another tie. Starcraft for being awesome, and my first step into the online game world (dial-up modem). Warcraft3 for the map editor and DotA.

Ending up with 7 games, and I'm sorry for that..

Edit: Looking at the list now, I still miss games I would like to mention here.. I play(ed) to much :/

1. Guild Wars - Basically just Prophecies, the first one, I played it for about 2 years, and those we're one of the most greatest years I had. GW was also the first online game I played "alone", started with no friends, but quickly made my way into a guild, where I had much fun and finally ended up being officer of that guild. I got bored and stopped playing the game when Factions, the second campaing, was about to come out. I hate myself deciding to stop playing, but I did. But right now, I'm back on track playing GW like no other game.

2. Diablo 2 - My first online game. I played about 1,5 years offline and then 1,5 years online, with my brother. Those we're awesome times. I still remember how we we're playing not a few meters away from each other, and we used in-game chat to talk to each other. When food was ready, we messaged one another "I think food is ready" and we both started running to kitchen, laughing. Ah, good times, good times. We we're also pretty good in the game - rich and lots of accounts full of maxed out characters. Well, not maxed out, but to some point.

3. Dawnspire - Awesome game. Wouldn't been nothing without my guild, Blue Hero. I remember my friend telling me about this game, and I gave it a shot. I've always been PvP gamer, so I instantly liked it. I played reaver mostly, back then. It was simple and pretty effective. I remember writing into my description "I don't care about the relics, I just kill". And it was the first game where I seriously played GvG, which today, is my main interest in all games.

4. Heroes 3 (had a hard time thinking anything) - Awesome game, but what made it to come to my top list, was probably the fact that I played it with my brother. Those we're good times. I could probably say Warcraft 2 here aswell.

5. I can't name a single game any longer. Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance, played that game in co-op at PS2 with my brother, it was awesome. Age of Conan and Warhammer Online we're good times playing with Blue Hero. Team Fortress 2 is always a few rounds of fun. Some PS1 games and old PC games, which names I can't remember, we're good times, probably becaus they we're about my first games ever. Battle for Wesnoth was awesome while it lasted. Not too lately I also played quite a lot Mount and Blade, good game there.

There's way too many good games to do this, but at least these five were great.

Outcast I played this a few years after it was published and totally loved it. I've heard it was way too heavy for normal computers back when it was published, but like I said I played it so late that was not a problem for me.

Deus Ex A classic in every way. Still one of the most interesting game stories I've played.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Extremely high quality game design, if you ask me. Too bad the sequels weren't quite that good.

Civilization 2 I probably wouldn't enjoy this so much anymore, but I played this hours on end when I was young, and I still think the newer incarnations are missing something essential this and the first one had.

Dawnspire While there is a countless number of good online games I've played (such as Enemy Territory or BF2), this game will always have a special place in my heart. Very good design and game balancing, if the world had any justice this one would've been a hit. This also racks up the most playtime of all my online games, MMOs included.

Red Alert The first real game I bought (before that it was just shareware and some C64 games). The gameplay itself was of course great but what really blowed my mind was the videos. Real actors! Not that I understood a word they said (I was 10-11 then), but that didn't stop me from spending countless hours with this masterpiece. Also had my first "PvP" experience with this, playing against my friend via dial-up modem (for some reason my parents didn't like the 2 hour gaming sessions we had as they couldn't use the phone then and the bill was quite big Tongue)

Civilization 2 Another great game with some great videos. Thanks to Civ and later Caesar III my english is what it is today. Also I became interested in history due to these, especially about Ancient Greek and the Roman Empire. So remember kids, games can be educational too Wink

Flight Simulator 2002 I don't think the game itself is that special, it was good but I guess there's other, "better", simulators around, even within the Flight Simulator series. But anyways, this is the game that hooked me up on flying. I learned a shitloads of useless info about planes, flying, ATC lingo and stuff, all of which wasn't really required to play the game. Also bought a joystick, just to a get a better experience. The passion for flying still exists, but it's been some years now since the last time I played any flight simulator game. Maybe when I get a new comp...

World of Warcraft Yes, I know... I think the total amount I've played this is less than 6 months (3 of them payed), but you have to give credit to this. It is a "perfect" game in a lots of ways, best enjoyed playing with a friend. Yes, some of the PvP aspects sucks and there's a lot of grinding, but still... Also this was my first online gaming experience (in early 2006 me thinks, before DS anyways), although on a private server with my brother and some 14-year old dutch chicks... Another reason for mentioning this game is Blizzard and their other games like Starcraft and Warcraft (never liked the Diablo games). Again I've spent countless hours playing those.

Dawnspire Well this was always the obvious choice. Most playtime ever, best gaming experiences ever, best off-gaming experiences ever. Dawnspire is the best and will always be.

Guild Wars. In many aspects, a perfect game. No monthly fees, for those who like pve, there's 3 great campaigns and an expansion. And for those who like pvp, there's this Dawnspire-like pvp characters-system. (no real grinding required, because pvp characters start out with everything "maxed out".) you can just make a character, choose a game mode (the only thing missing here is relic conquest) and jump in for instant pvp action. as you play more, you earn "faction" which can be used to unlock new skills and equipment, allowing you to try out new builds and playstyles. but the real reason I'm into this is of course the gvgs

Dawnspire This game made me who I am today. It introduced me to pvp and gvg and it simply symbolizes everything I could ever want from a game. Not to mention the community, which is also superb.

Runescape I know, it's a shitty game, but it's still worth mentioning cause I used to spend so much with it back then when i was like 13. The credit doesn't really go to the game itself, but this finnish clan, I used to hang out with. I wish i could meet those people again.

Final Fantasy series, especially numbers 6 to 9. I like everything about these games. great storylines, and characters. new grinding system for each version and above all, breathtaking videos.

Crash Bandicoot series on ps1 again, a series that I loved, but for completely different reasons. There's great humor, and the difficulty level is just right, especially on cb2 and ctr.

Outcast was a great game. Brilliant involving story. Sad to see the second game in the series got canned well into development. I might try and get that running again to see if it still works.

Starcraft as well. forgot about that. been through the game and expansion so often in 10 years.

1: Planescape Torment
Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever. Best Rpg Ever....

2: Vampire Bloodlines: The Masquerade
I played this first time after having been inspired by Underworld. Damn, it rocked, and goth vampire chicks are REALLY hot.

3: Knights of the Old republic
It was simply great. The sequels don't capture the feeling totally. Playing a Dark Dude was totally awsome, and you had the opportunity to do some really vile acts.

4: A Tale In The Deset
This is a game for Whai. I know it. It's about thinking, being creative, creating, building a community. Basically you set out as a egyptian wearing a loincloth, and you have all Egypt to choose from, where to set up your first simple tent. After half a year, you'll wonder where it'd serve the community best to set up a pyramid.
It's a game full of riddles, and small mini-games, and it makes use of your brain istead of being mindnumbing as most other games. Also, the friends you get here, they're like your friends, it hurts to part ways.

Sadly, the Tale 2 introduced things like levelling and several predetermined things on the map, making the game more mainstream, and less open, which was a harsh blow on what attracted me to the game in the first place. Setting out in nowhere, and building things up from nothing.

5: Dawnspire. It enters this list only because of the community.

Why don't you think DS is a good game? One of the purest fantasy team PvP games I've found. If only to show what could have been had they the money to make a second.

In all the reviews I read of the game that was one of the main complaints that it didn't take the reviewer anywhere. It's pure team PvP, each game is unique. It's not a MMO. But as I stated above to me great game though it was/is it was just a hint of what could/can have been achieved if the team had the right backers. It need so much to hold the casual player like changing appearance and such. But it still is at times fast adrenaline filled fun. Grin
