Unable to start DS / Servers

I get this error message when I start DSP:
Failed to download file http://patches.dawnspire.com/PatchFiles/Launcher_2007.06.05.exe Reason: Could not get host address

Yes I got community edit.. I've tried reinstalling couple of times. I checked if it actually does connect to the community servers and it does. I bought better uplink to keep server up here 

Would be nice if this problem was solved

I had same shit...
But i found crack!
it is link!!!
create link to the Dawnspire.exe
right click on it -->>> Options
and in Object (1st) bar u will see "C:\Program Files\Silent Grove Studios\Dawnspire\Dawnspire.exe"
change it ^^^^ to "C:\Program Files\Silent Grove Studios\Dawnspire\Dawnspire.exe" -launcher
and now all will be OK!

Still doesn't get to the bottom of why this is happening across the board to a lot of players in the past few months.

Anyone any ideas?

Well that still doesn't solve my hosting problem..
Since now I get "Cannot find gui.ddl"
I did reinstall nothing
