Inspired by "the next domination", which sadly is no longer very active, i have decided to try to revive GvG activities by a similar strategy. However, i will not offer invitations to everyone who has no guild ... but those who i know as active and can participate in GvGs (no noobs basically XD).
This is because without GvG's, a guild is merely a "name tag" for players. So I can still enjoy public games with my friends and people from UA etc - even if the "tag" for guild is different.
But at the moment, there is no guild activity at all... so even if i try, and fail, it will make little difference to the guild rankings and world of DS.
So as i can see it, although it may fail, there is little to "lose" for trying to revive a bit of gvg activities.
Of course i will need some time to set up the guild, the guild forum, and gather members etc.... but i am sure i can be ready reasonably quick.

Why not just get those people to join TND along with a second account of your own instead of starting yet another tiny guild that will, if past history is to be our measurment go no were. If we could get all the tiny guilds to join up as one big guild that would be better. I wish you luck but I feel TND fills this option. It just needs a more agressive recruiting policy. Other than to say were TND and were here. We with 20+ members struggle to get enough people to GvG most times.
If we could get another guild such as TND up in numbers then I am sure with them and UA, Ass and PJP we could get BH to come back for some guild matches.
My thoughts. Off to try and get my free GW storage for it's 4th Birthday.

Actually, i am only adding people who can use forums and understand the game. So far in today alone, i have gotten 4 potential members (sent invites etc) ... and so the guild is progressing nicely. Where tnd failed, in my opinion, was by inviting everyone who didnt have a guild - even if they couldnt use forum... and didnt know what a GvG was etc. |

I will take steps like this... However, it is required that they can use the forum and know what GvGs are etc. So it takes a little longer than just sending the invite. However, 4 members currently... with forum and guild set up. So i will start sending messages to those in tnd. |

I'd hate to doublepost, but since i have a reason, I'll just do it anyways. I accected this HGs invitation i got, and left my other account in charge of what is left of tnd. I'll prolly delete it after some time. I agree about not recruiting "noobs" because I've already had my fair share of ppl who are hard to control.
Having a forum (which i can't use yet) is fine, but IMO you can't have a decent gvg without voice communication. In tnd we tried out both teamspeak and skype. TS requires a server (i know 1 that is free), skype on the other hand, does not, it also has text chat option. However, it demands more bandwith and ram from your computer.
That's just some friendly advice, I can either give you more or just shut and play ds, the choice is yours.
