Seems interesting... I'll do the initial test later tonight and see how it goes from there.

I could need this. I start at Monday next week, the 25th of May.
I remember at a swimming camp, last day after almost a week of 4-5 hours swimming each day, we had a push-up test. I ended up with a strong 97 before I found my face hitting the ground, and staying there. I tried it now, doing some just to see how it felt again, ending up almost dead after 30. This will be interesting indeed.

i have too much free time, so might as well do something productive. I'll do the initial test tomorrow and see what's up next by then.

I did this a year or so ago, and can highly recommend the program. It works, if you do all the exercises. It will hurt and suck sometimes, but it works.
My initial result when beginning was 30, if I remember correctly. I didn't repeat any weeks.
However, do realize that unless you keep active after the program, the results will partially fade away, too. Just out of curiosity, I tried how many I can do now, and the result was 60 without sweat and tears, so I suppose I could do 70 if I had to.

Well, as with all exercise, keep active, your your abs will turn into cozy fat!
I will also begin with week three, as recommended by the program. By the end of this, I want to be able to make 100 perfect pushups, straight up, nose touching the floor every time, back in a straight line singing the Gummibears tune.

I'll be starting the actual program on monday, from week three, column 1. I might give up halfway trough, since I didn't have a firm motivation to begin with. Nerds don't need muscles.

So the first day is completed. I'm gonna go ahead and list how many I manage to do at the last set every day (set 5) I am doing the third column. I will also swim for an hour every Tuesday and Thursday, in an attempt to get my old, oh so strong, body back.. yes. BMI (Body Mass Index) - Monday 25:th of May: 25.1
Day 1: 14.. Lower then I thought, that's for sure. Day 2: 14. The first sets was easy as pie, but got tired faster then Day 1 Day 3: 18.

Already done that . Seems like the rank I got was pretty much spot on, quite hard at the end of the session but I'm still breathing . Edit. Got 13 on set 5, would have liked to do more but my hands refused to lift me...

So I was in the rank 3 and on the set 5 I got 10 pushups (a little disappointment for me, but now I have even better reason for this training ).
