I just played on a game, a very busy game I might add, were for about 8 or 9 minutes of the game  my side played with 2 bots while the other side played with all 8 people. No matter how many times I asked for some one to swap they would just laugh or tell me to quit whinning. I'm not talking newbies here but players who have been around for a long time. The reason they wouldn't swap was they had 2 of the three relics. I thought we were all about fair play here. Swapping to even a matches. Commiting a selfless act even when you knew it might lead you to defeat. Seems I was wrong.

Sad day for Dawnspire.

Relax...

I can only speak for myself but there were few reasons why I didn't change. First of all your team was making coordinated attacks all the time (bots included) and our defense was spread thin (it was Forgotten Halls, which is by far the hardest map to defend), meaning that there really wasn't time to change and had I changed anyways they surely would have lost it right away. Not a fair thing to do either, right?

Besides the game ended in a draw eventually, so wtf are you complaining about? Tongue

About the principle of the idea. But that would seem to be falling on deaf ears so there's no further point in discussing it, as I though.

Sounds like the game was even, but the teams weren't. But I don't change to even the teams, I change to even the game.

We were lucky enough to be in sync with the bots respawning only reason it seemed even. A truly fair game can only come from equal numbers of real players the bots are no substitute no matter if you spawn with them or not.

Well, I wasen't there. Just pointing out that having bots doesn't mean that the game is unfair. IMO.

Bots are actually easier to play with since they don't lag and you always know what they're going to do.

I have this problem... but on a bigger scale.

I dont see why people like to ruin a PvP server by delibrately changing to the winning team, or making it co-op ... so that when the next person joins it is 4 vs 1 or 3 vs 1 etc.

If you want to play like this, i think you should host your own co-op server.... and not spoil the PvP servers for everyone else. Undecided

Besides all of the above it was a bloody feckin good game, haven't had such a full server and such an interesting game for a long time... besides we managed to pull off a draw while outnumbered and with BH and the likes against us... it was all because of me, thats what i like to believe  Roll Eyes Kiss Grin
