My guild-friend (his server RId-server 2) has the same problem! What is It?

Router/firewall issue. Open the port 3170 (opening 3169 also helped in some cases if I remember correctly).

I can't join my server... and no one can't join it... what's the problem?? i use DMZ settings... Tongue(info from DMZ)

This is a problem that a few of us have across the board. I can make and join my own server but no one else can. I have tried opening ports every way I can think of to little success. I never had this problem with the original build or server set up, but I can't think what would have changed.

I will take the blame for Spy starting this thread. I said he should while in game, not realising the question had been possed in another thread.

So far there has been no break through on this problem for those who suffer it.

What are you running XP or Vista?

I run the game on 2 machines. on my Xp machine I can start a server and join it but no one else can. On my Vista machine the game freezes when I try to open a server and crashes. Unfortunatley Vista is not our friend it would seem.  Angry

Has anyone tried to run the game under the Windows 7 beta? if so how does it run?
