@Hullu: http://themythofevolution.com/Site/Myth%20of%20Evolution.html There would be no point in classifying species, because they all would just be changing into something else continuously. So, my evolution research resulted in my realization that evolution has absolutely nothing to do with science, but rather it is a system of materialistic beliefs. There's many different opinions of this within the church (the Lutheran one). I believe that the earth is only 6000 years old and that God has created all animals, plants, rocks etc. etc. Basically, I say evolution is there because of peoples need to 'prove the Bible wrong', altough many believers do accept the idea of a God-created evolution. @Maci: God isn't invisible. Not all the time. You've got to remember that not so long ago most people believed in some kind of 'invisible God'. You can't prove all of those people to beinsane.

Haha, thats so retarded. The phrase to make note of here is “everybody knows.” It occurred to me that I believed evolution was true because other people believed in it. I had never seen or read of any evidence for it, but because people referred to it as fact in public schools, science textbooks, publicly funded museums, and many magazines, I accepted it as an established fact. And god isn't the same thing just with different background?

No. As a matter of fact, only a third of the worlds population were christians 'on paper' while 18% were muslims in 1990. Imagine how it is now, 20 years later. It'd be more like: "I don't believe in God because no one else does."

Well, then you adopted the idea from someone else. Christians, whatever. Like that other guy adopted evolution from school and museums.
