Also, Regnum sucks so bad. I remember playing it with Mrius. I seriously don't know what madness drove us to play it.

I remember the character movement in Regnum being very icky, character slid around and didn't exactly turn on a dime.  plus the Spanish dialogue really irritated me..

I don't mind the way DDO does it. You earn some shop credits by playing, so even if you want to play for totally free, over time you'll be able to get some of the shop content. And honestly, if the game is good enough to play that long, then it is good enough to pay the developers for.

I like the way you can choose to either pay a monthly fee and access everything, or pay for what you use. I don't have enough time to play it that paying for the full subscription would make any sense, but now I have the option to pay per quest/adventure instead and play the less than 10 hours a month I do..
