Trapped here at work I decided that the best way I could help Dawnspire was e-mail the editors of a few of the biggest pc magazines in the uk (Pcgamer, PCzone,Total PC Gaming) with the following

Hi,

I am just dropping you a line to see if you could help the Dawnspire community by giving us a small plug in your magazine, and if possible carrying the community edition client on your cover disc.

Dawnspire is a team based third person tactical PvP fantasy game. It's not just another button masher. Players require skill and team work to be any good. Games can be frenetic, intense and exhilarating on a full server. The game has 2 game modes and 18 maps. Those who download the client get the full game free with 10 character slots and 6 character types and 60 skills. It has a strong GvG base as well.

 
We are trying to rebuild a player base as the original developers Silent Grove Studio shut down there own server due to many reasons. Instead of killing the game they have allowed the community to run there own master server. We are therefore as I stated trying to rebuild a player base.

Could you help? Please

If you know of any magazine in your area you could cut and paste this or something similar to them. It's free advertising if they carry a small story or the client on their cover DvD it might help us. So if you want the game to survive start contacting the games magazines in your country.

You could also post something like this on any other game forums you are on.

Get the message out there and lets get this community to grow. after all everyone loves something for nothing.

Yes but who ever listens to officials  . I thought you would love this Hullu, a chance to spam on every forum in the world. Just imagine you could become famous beyond Ds for your talent  Yes offically it is dead but we do need to do something to bring in new players. Until Anders and co tell us to stop what harm are we doing?

I think I know what I'll do to help out... Aeria Games is quite a large producer of MMO's. If I could e-mail some Devs, I think they might take DS under their wing. Would SGS allow this if they were paid a little sum of money for the dead game? Never know. Might just happen.

Doubt it... As far as I understood the devs were and are very keen on keeping the brand to themselves, just in case something might happen it the future
