Yeah (correct me if iam wrong) but seams like the maps is created using a typ of normal map right? (darker color = lower height and so on)
a bit like when you create maps in oblivion (not editing the world rather creating a brand new one) or creating a map in far cry (old one)

No idea ... guessing Maya, 3D studio max or Lightwave... found the meshes but they are all in a strange format: .ITLB (must have been converted from .obj)


so if i could convert them to .obj i could use a 3D software to modify them Cheesy
gonna ask a friend tomorrow

understandable since he slogged his guts out to create the engine in the first place. A modified version could still reappear at any time.
