Failed to Download file

Okay my friend bought Dawnspire for me... and when I try to play it, it says:

Failed to download file:
http://patches.dawnspire.com/PatchFile/Launcher_2007.06.05.exe

Reason:
Could not get host address.

I tried downloading another patch from another website but it still says that error

The "old" dawnspire was discontinued, but the community version of it is free. If your friend bought you the game, you should take it back to the store asking for a refund.

Once you've gotten your money back, Go to this link http://dawnspire.tinyrocket.se/#downloads to download the community installer of the game. Install it, and it should run fine

Only other thing I can think of is for you to make sure that your internet is connected when you run the installer (as it links to the Dawnspire website).... and if it still doesnt work, maybe make sure that your firewall isn't blocking part of the installation process?
