What is your current opinion on the BLC beta

Well this is one odd debate I must admit... I must feel alone in the BC community because you have reasoned it to be so and this is not even debatable because... you have reasoned it to be so. And now we should talk about how much me feeling alone must affect my opinion about the game, completely regardless of whether I actually share your initial argument in the first place.

So no, I'm sorry but we can't continue this discussion towards the way you would like to, simply because I don't feel alone in the BC community. And I would like to stress out the word FEEL, because it is a feeling after all. Whether or not I FEEL like I'm outside the community. There's no amount of logic you could put into it to make me feel something I don't. Sure, your reasonings might seem valid and I would probably draw up similar conclusions myself if I were in your shoes, but in the end those are nothing more than an educated guess because each person is an individual and you cannot reason with 100% accuracy how they feel (you can have a guess based on several factors but you can't know for sure). To you I might look like an outsider and it might affect your views of me and my opinions, but because I don't feel like being outside then it naturally can't affect my views of game.


However, just for the sake of an argument, had I agreed on your assumption then naturally I would next question all your opinions about the game because you are an insider and therefore might have an overly positive view of the game. And this would lead us where?

Okay, I'm putting a stop to this on my part. You welcomed the idea of my reasoning being sound, but bring up a point of individual behaviour on the table. This is an endlessly vague ground to take the discussion to and would provide you endless tools to defend your ground, as we would pretty much be navigating inside your head from the start. Even if I'd find an appropriate angle for me to prolong this discussion, I wont, because it wouldn't have the desired effect of clarity that I'm looking for. I would keep doing what I do, presenting arguments, and you would take the discussion wherever it would favour you by either simply dismissing my arguments without counter-argumenting, or presenting another sandbox arising from your implicit individuality.

I don't think your opinions and observations are invalid at all, but suggest that they might pick up an unfairly negative tone for the mentioned reason. It's okay to have negative thoughts about the game, but we should come forward with our angle to be constructive about it.

Guys guys guys.  I go away for a few days and all hell breaks loose.  You're both right, you're both wrong, and the rest of the community will not stand idly by the bloodshed of its members, particularly when the members are drawing the blood.  The last debate that ignored the fundamental rule that we are all ultimately on the same team ended in the destruction of the devs, and it was not pretty.  We don't want to lose you guys.

Tried some conquest games with some friends (OMG!!!!). It made the experience a little more intriguing. I did get annoyed a few times when it turned into either a guessing/chasing game or random 1v1/1v2/2v2, but had some surprisingly good games after all.

What conquest DIDNT do was changing the feeling of the game, which for me is somewhat of a team third-person-shooter. Something I don´t like at all. I am also still uncomfortable with the WASD controls, constantly having to look down on my keyboard to see where my bloody fingers are. This has not improved over the hours of playing, and I attribute it to senile and rigid synapses.

Considering how high my expectations of BLC were, I am righteously dissappointed, beta or not. The things I don´t like (WASD and the peow-peow-iness) are integral to the game and not likely to change, ever. A more involving game mode might be released. I´ll keep an eye on how BLC develops, but won´t hold my breath. May the gods smile on the release schedule of Diablo 3.

ok I got a few things to say... first of all...I register on this forum I have no idea what it is only that I googled BLC beta.  And most important, BLC is the single most enjoyable game I have played in like a year.  Maybe Longer.  Your all BAD if you dont LOVE BLC, even if your "by yourself" (unlike bernhardt who ALWAYS play with his team like a pub stomping fag but we will get to that later)  I've been waiting all week everyday saying I wish I could play this game.  I've been playing competitive games since....like 13 years ago.  I have played a bit of everything, and I know what is good what is "fresh", screw "its all a matter of opinion" I hate that philosophy, BLC is *expletive* awesome  If you Dont like BLC, You are in denial, or the gamestyle has grown stale on you, your depressed, your an outcast, or your just a boring person.  I have no idea WTF DS is but I probably would have liked it b4 BLC.

Now, bernhardt, and others in the BLC community have made it so you really do need a friend that knows how to play in BLC or you were to get stomped and ridiculed for how Bad you are.  Then he come here and defend the game that he loves, yet still stomps on new players and kills the love for the game.  I personally have seen players go crazy for losing and not having a chance at BLC, and then actually stop playing the game...;. yeah kids have no patience and humility these days.

Bottom line, your all crazy if you dont love BLC.  And bernhardt, you a crazy mother with all that logic stuff, it seemed like everything else in philosophy and logic, very pretty and wordy but ultimately useless except to make your point seem superpowerful me and you are cool if you stop padding your rating and pub stomping.
