Dawnspire Battle report April including Hours fought

So I thought a little rebranding might be in the offing to take into account all Dawnspire related news, since there actually is some. First up the news from the frontline that at least 1 of you has been waiting on.The monthly was the best month Since records began in June last year for battles fought, Partly due to a raft of new raw recruits (be gently with them) who actually played and the newsletter that went out near the end of the month. The top 100 managed (drum roll) 41172 minutes or 686.2 hours of game play this month, That's up on last months average by  465.47 hours (honest). That's not counting all those who never made the top 100 or stopped short of 30 minutes.

We currently have  4118 members, that's up 138 bot/members since last month at this time. How they find us is still a mystery to me but keep em coming.

This only takes into account games between April 1st and 30th up until 7.30pm. Anything after that isn't counted.

As usual Pimp has been running a server almost 24/7 for most of this month so thanks to him. We still need old and new players to return so pass on the word.

Ok I looked back and I started doing these in June.

Make of this what you will. From the month of June to April we average 22498.18/374.96 minutes/hours of play a month, Up on last months average. We also get an average of roughly 132.63 members a month.

Most of these members don't seem to play for long or at all So stop scaring them away by moaning. We really need to Keep up the playing and fill the server at peak times between 17.00 and 20.00 hours mid week.

In other news as mentioned we sent a newsletter to all players urging them to return to the frontline and report for duty. The success of this mission or whether they are still A.W.O.L is as yet undecided. At least King Pharo has had battle mates when he's been around.
 
Swiss once again returned to his barracks and showed the forums the battle plans he has been drawing up over his months in deep cover. These included much needed and welcome changes to the bot A.I.  See link below.

He also presented us with more controversial changes to skills. When we will actually see these changes in the form of a downladable file is anyones guess. He may return to deep cover ops before he has a chance as his mission on the frontline is vital to the war effort.

Wow that's quite a lot... or in reverse, the former peak times weren't as populated as I recalled.

Would be interesting to know the same numbers from the old DS, but guess those have been deleted some time ago.

I would guess the old numbers for the Silent Grove era would blow these figures out of the water. It still felt more populated even right up till the end. Though this month has been great. So we need to keep it up.

I just add up the top 100 on my phones calculator and cut and paste it to the list from the previous month. The players I can get from the stats section of the forums now that I have found them. I then add the totals up and divide by number of months to give an average for that time.

An update on the totals. So far in the past 11 months we have played 247480 minutes, 4124.66 hours ot 171.86 days. Might start adding that one to the list.
