Well my nick name is a merge of a part of my first name and the character's name of a novel by David Eddings. And about my hairiness, well there is something true  ok let's start with some probs. I managed to log in the game and i've tried some training games. 1400x900, no antialias, no vsync, no beta features, no clouds rendering. I get some random freezes. After few seconds freeze is over and i get corrupted graphics and/or i find my char dead on the ground.After few of these freezes eventually the graphic driver stops working. I have no similar probs with other games, except some older games like test drive(but no so extreme). Have you guys any suggestion? I run win xp sp3 on a intel dual core Tnx all for helping |

Belgarath eh? As for your problem, it could be the graphics card driver. Nvidia released some faulty drivers lately. |

Yes, crappy drivers lately, infact now i'm running 195.62. It seems to be a stable driver. The last drivers are messing up with many things (i.e. overclock features) what do you think about Zotac? is very powerfull but peraphs no so stable (i must keep her downcloacked for stability) And last question: someone has already installed 197.45 drivers? they say that this version resolve many bugs, but i'm not so confident |

Don't know about Zotac but I myself have 197.45 currently and haven't encoutered any problems with it.

A friend I used to live with had these amazing enormous loudspeakers that he somehow had managed to aquire from an american army base. When I first came along, he was all hush-hush don't disturb the neighburs, but after half a month, we went all out with drum'n base and dubstep. We later found out that whenever he maxed out the speakers, the fuses in the whole appartment complex fried, causing a total blackout in the entire building.

You say that you underclock you graphics card to keep it stable... Sounds like you're having too high temperature in your chassi for your system. Try to play with the sidepanel removed from your chassi while running the game. If it then works, you know that is the problem. If so, it is just a matter of cleaning the dust out of your box and then perhaps get an extra fan or two installed (if the cleaning didn't help). / Pimp |
