The guy Raven does very simple but effective tutorials. I might even start messing about with it myself.

I also found this programe truespace 3D. A free alternative to 3D studio Max to make and import animated models into UDK I think.

He has this idea, spurned on by a few comments in this thread that he (we) could remake Dawnspire using the UDK. I will leave it up to each individual to judge the merits of this endeavour. Ultimately messing about with the UDK and truespace can only make him a better more well equipped person for the future. I would ask, no implore him to release to the community the AI changes he said were finished before he is swept up and away in such time consuming efforts.

The AI scripts are available Tongue Im setting them up to clientside when I move to my own apartment and get my internet connectio back the next week Tongue

Dont be so hasty !^^ And Im just trying to compile the files of DS to UDK .. which I know nothing about. It's just drag and drop styled stuff..

I seriously doubt there's going to be any progress if it's just one or two guys working on their own. Not that we've had enough people to state their interest in this topic anyways.

Planescape Torment is the best RPG ever made. The amount of CONTENT, in the form of pure text is ENORMOUS. It's like several BOOKS, crammed together. It also was a flop due to poor marketing and such, so updates were discontinued, and left to the community. I read about the TRANSLATION effort that the community did:

"It took a german group of 20 one year to fully translate the game."
"A similair italian group was done in two years."
"The korean version of the game was completed as a one-man effort."

I'm pointing an ETA here now to release all server side functionalities in my server:
6.15.-10.

This will include:
New relic "eye" system
Whole new object detection
as I call it new "Friend of Foe" system: This basically makes the bot time his skills a bit more.. For instance stuns and slows will be available for relic carriers if this and that and so on.
Hard bots: Lower cooldown on all their skills and increases capasity to alot of functionailities.


Something funny I found from my computer:
When DS was still under development I tried to create "Boss fights" Some ppl might remember this ?Tongue It's based on couple different maps and I have some weird scripts for bosses already, might just try it at the ETA also - Not gonna work on this!
