Fail to load maps

ok i downloaded the football map..and i downloaded the bot file/map file one or whatever it is. and i logg onto game, and there are servers there..i click play and it says at the top of the screen "failed to connect to server" OR "failed to load map football map" OR "failed to load "name of other map" 

My firewall is off and there is nothing blocking the connection,
if anyone knows how to sort this PLEASE help ASAP
