Alright, if you're gonna get this, you should have read the following, in the following order: Random question 2 music love GOD Irreverence
So, I have for a long time, not TRUSTED people generally. This is because I know they are mallable. Even before I could put these words on it. But I also realized, that there were friends that I COULD trust. I could trust them to the point that I would trust them even if they were my ENEMIES.
They wouldn't lie to me even if they were haters. And these were the people I befriended, big time. A HARD line drawn which leaves the other riff raff out.
What makes these people different? (because we all say we're honest right...)
I will classify myself as one of these people: Me: I have made a personal vow to be honest with everyone. Dating as far back as when I lied to my father once, and in school, where I made people tell me their secrets, promising I wouldn't tell others. My slogan was "Have I ever lied to you?"
Best friend: This guy is a christian. If he lies, God will fuck with him. And he's man enough not to be mallable by other people.
Friend 2: Same story. He's somewhat mallable, but his religion gives him power. He wouldn't fuck with God.
Hitchhiker friend: One of the biggest wrongs he could do is to lie to a friend, only surpassed by lying to his parents, which he could NEVER do. And he doesn't give a fuck what other people say or do, so he's firm in his values.
What I DO NOT, trust is people who are honest, and good friends, based on emotions, say, they like me. So fucking what, tomorrow you might dislike me, and turn from an angel to an ass. I don't buy that crap.
SO people I trust have to prerequisites: 1: They are more INTERNALLY motivated than EXTERNALLY, and 2: They have some kind of value that prohibits them from being an ass (lie)
Imagine how hard it would be to find a trustable girl eh. shiiit.
