I listened to a speech the other day. Among other things, stress was mentioned.

The orator claimed that each of us, when we feel bad, or down, we have a habit, of doing whatever it is we need to do, to reclaim life energy.

Some eat an ice cream. Some talk with their friends. Some go out party. Some watch a movie.

The problem with stress would then be, that all these practises are regarded as past-time. Having fun, and when we're stressed, we don't feel like we have the TIME to simply "have fun". So, when we need life energy the most, we don't take the time to reclaim that energy. That's why stress is a circle of doom, and why it's so debilitating.

my opinion on stress is that people care too much.

If you find yourself getting stressed at something, stop and think for a moment.

ask yourself "is it worth caring about so much that it causes me stress?"

if the answer is no, stop caring.

If the answer is yes, then find a mexican child to take your stress out on.

I can calm down everyday and im not making much out of things, and if I do, the moment after, I dont care anymore at all. What would your definition of stress be? Maybe im a stressed person, maybe not. Depends, I dont know.

I think that certain mindsets could make you somewhat impervious to stress. I was stressed out yesterday after my 3.5 days of ethics education, but that was mostly because of it fucking with my mind.

I think, as long as the mind is at peace, stressing the body changes little.
