I wonder how many account they sold in the end including my two. Believe in your product but get a decent publisher. In the end might have saved the game or extended its life a little longer. AH! those 8 hour days spend fighting over 3 relics again and again. It would be nice to get an ending to the story.

I don't mean ending what we have here, that would be absurd. I mean an ending to the video. Telling us what they learned all these years down the line. As Nightmare says were they got it right and went wrong.

They did try with a publisher. G-stars. Ever heard of? No, there we go.
Either it was to late to go that path, or G-Starts simply did not deliver anything at all. I don't remember the whole story, it's a few years ago after all.
The dream back then was obviously to get Dawnspire available on Steam. That would have been given some impact, I am sure.

Persus, I once heard a number of how many accounts they sold, as well as how many extra character slots. But I simply don't remember. All I know is my three accounts (Smiskfisk, Puff (lol, the fun we had..) and Liljan, to help out my brothers guild Epic Elephants, if anyone remember them..) and 12 extra slots.

I Really think Steam was in it's infancy then and they played things closer to their chest with what they let on it. Now I think they might have stood a better chance getting the game on there even as a F2P. Sadly timing is everything and they might have just been a little ahead of the curve.

I don't recall the name G-stars but I remember there being one fairly well known publisher with whom they made a deal with (don't remember the name though). That's how they got the game on DVD right? Not that they got any money out of it.

In addition to Steam, there's a lot of lets-play type of videos on Youtube nowadays, which are very popular and a good way to promote indie or otherwise lesser known games. Totalbiscuit comes to mind ofc. But like Persus said unfortunately they were a bit ahead of their time.

(Previous) owner of two accounts (won the second though) and 10-12 extra slots here btw. Not to mention the some 30+ slots I bought to various guild members who lacked a credit card back then.

You're definitly right dudes, regarding to all the moba games released those 3 years Dawnspire was too much young.
Hopefully the community still sustains it  Kiss
