A medical question. I am contemplating the different possible bloodvalues regarding evaluating anemia. I'm not in class, I'm travelling, having fun, so I'm just trying to reherse.

Is this a possible set of values?
S-homocysteine +
S-MMA normal
S- B12 normal
S- Folat normal

1: This would to me, indicate FUNCTIONAL insufficiancy of folate, due to 677TT mutation. Is this a correct assessment?

2: Specifically: the MMA level should not be affected at all, since MMA only mirrors B12 insufficiancy?

3: Isn't the B-12 value redundant? Since looking at the MMA value is much more specific towards B-12 insufficiancy, than looking at b-12 itself - which might be elevated due to a myriad of reasons.

If you wanna be a hero, create you own fairytale.
