Once when I had the relic close to home on Wistmore and suddenly I had the relic in their base. With ghost I worked it out though and entered the gate as I was being displaced so I ended up back where I was, thinking about the sequence of events, I wonder that the server didnt crash.

I've found that as long as the displace has locked on or started before you walk through the gate it will always do that. Also with Soul Trap if you lock on just before the step through they should die instantly when they exit the gate at the new location because of the distance they have traveled from the trap.
